Bilstein B6 4600 front shock absorbers & Bilstein 5100 rear shocks.


I hear this question pretty often about which after Market shocks to go with;

As far as getting your money's worth goes, a lot of guys go with Bilsteins; you get a quality product for a reasonable price;

There are other options out there - Rancho, Monroe, Koni but Bilsteins are the most popular among Commander owners;

I have Bilstein B6 4600 front shock absorbers (Part # 24-186797) in the front and Bilstein 5100 shocks (Part # 33-225807) in the rear which are slightly longer than the stock shocks. I've also replaced my stock rear coil springs with new Hemi-rated rear coil springs - (JustForJeeps Part #'s 52124213AA & 52124214AA) because I have a small utility trailer I tow around when I go camping.
